For Christmas Jody hooked me up with a new scanner. I’d mentioned to her a while back that I wanted a scanner that could do photos, slides, and negatives. This way I could go back through our pre-digital media and save everything.
Here is a sample I just did to test out my new toy. This was a wallet size photo of Cailyn (6 months old) that I scanned at a really high resolution. The uncompressed image right off the scanner was nearly TWO gigabytes!
This sample was reduced in size and resolution so I could post it. Still looks pretty good!
I’m excited to rummage through our old negatives and photos now!
