Today was the last day of school for the kids. I have mixed feelings about this milestone. The kids are another year older. No more early morning ritual of dragging them out of bed and stressing to make the bus.
But they are now home all day. Every day. This isn't a big deal for me. It is Jody I worry about. Four kids to drive her crazy all day. Sure, she says right now she is glad school is done for the year. But I watch what these kids can do to her with just a few hours between school's end and bedtime.
So yeah, I am worried.
But that isn't the main point of this post. I figured I would share a crafty idea Jody used today. Granted I wager she borrowed the idea from something she read or saw in one of her numerous craft related "sources", but it was cool nonetheless.
Can you tell what it is? She made a bunch of these and took them to the school for Milee's class. Here is another angle:
Pretty cool eh? It actually took her quite awhile to complete the batch. The tassels are a pain. But they are sure good little treats! :)
