Minivan: Fully Loaded

The following video was posted to Scott Kelby's Blog this week and it is really well done (and inspiring). I think many will relate to the message regardless of your "art".

Cailyn received another birthday present from our former neighbors (now distance friends since they relocated to Germany), and she loves it!  I figured I would post a few pictures for Jessonda, Mike, Tiff, and Zack to enjoy.  Thank you guys!

I really like this picture.  Her little fingers are literally a half inch away...maybe less.  She almost got me!

This past Sunday Cailyn celebrated her birthday - despite my efforts to convince her to postpone it in lieu of the Super Bowl.  I figured the more I delay it, the longer she can stay 6 years old, right?

She wouldn't concede so we ended up letting her turn 7 years old.  Time sure is flying.

It is sure a treat having her in our family.  Of all the kids, she rarely fails to come flying at me for a hug when I walk in the door after work.  Ever since she was very little, she has always brightened up the most when I see her each day.  Not sure what I did to deserve such adoration, but I sure love it.  When she really wants something, she seems to know that I'll eventually cave after a certain number of hugs & kisses.

Sure is hard watching each of our kids gain more and more independence, but at the same time it sure is fun getting to know the person they are becoming...and all the surprises that brings too!
